The baofeng UV-5R is well built and works great. I can hit the repeater 10 miles away. This one makes my eighth one that I have bought, so I have a collectionone for the whole family. I love how they are small compact lightweight and durable.

The headphones will not shut down the speaker it's a problem with the headphone jack. Otherwise it works fine. I did order a new one from a different store.
